Lift Kits, Wheels, Tires & Truck Service in Argyle, Texas

Everything Your Truck Needs. Nothing It Doesn't.

LONESTAR LIFTED TRUCKS is a veteran-owned custom truck shop at 4020 Trey Ln, Unit B in Argyle, Texas. We install lift kits and leveling kits, shocks and full suspension systems, wheels and tires, bumpers, winches, lighting and accessories — and we do the everyday service work that keeps a truck on the road, on any truck or SUV, two-wheel drive or four.

Everything on this page happens in our own bays, by our own technicians, on our own equipment. We do not sub out your suspension work to a shop across town and mark it up. Our door rate is $150 per hour, every operation is quoted from a published labor time, and every quote we write is itemized down to the shop supplies and the tax so there is nothing waiting for you at pickup that was not on the paper you signed.

We serve Argyle, Flower Mound, Bartonville, Copper Canyon, Justin and Northlake directly, and the greater DFW Metroplex within about fifty miles of the shop. Call (940) 240-1958 and we will build you a written quote, usually before you hang up.

Lift Kits & Leveling Kits

From a 1.5-inch leveling kit that just takes the factory rake out, to a 12-inch long-arm build on a dually, lift work is the heart of this shop. We install suspension lifts, leveling kits, body lifts and performance ride-quality systems on Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, RAM, Toyota, Nissan and Jeep — half-ton, three-quarter-ton and one-ton.

The right kit is not always the tallest one. What you tow, what you haul, how far you commute on I-35W and whether you actually leave the pavement all change the answer. We will tell you honestly when a 4-inch kit will make you happier than a 6-inch kit, and we will tell you what a given height is going to do to your ride, your driveline angles and your fuel mileage before you spend a dollar.

  • Suspension lift kits, 2" through 12"
  • Leveling kits and front strut spacers
  • Long-arm, four-link and radius-arm systems
  • Body lifts and combination setups
  • Driveline, track bar and brake line correction
  • Lifted alignment included on every lift job

Fox and King shock and coilover suspension work on a lifted truck in Argyle, Texas

Shocks, Coilovers & Suspension

Shocks are where a truck stops being a look and starts being a ride. A worn factory shock on a lifted truck is the single most common reason somebody tells us their build "rides rough" — and it is usually the cheapest thing on the truck to fix.

We install and service the full range: twin-tube replacements, 2.0 and 2.5 monotube, remote reservoir, bypass and full coilover conversions. We stock Fox, King, Elka, Carli Suspension, ICON Vehicle Dynamics, Eibach and Bilstein-class replacements, and we will tell you which valving actually suits a truck that spends five days a week on FM 407 and two days with a gooseneck behind it.

  • Shock and strut replacement, front and rear
  • Fox 2.0 / 2.5, King, Elka and Carli coilovers
  • Remote reservoir and bypass shock setups
  • Upper and lower control arms, ball joints, bushings
  • Track bars, radius arms, sway bar links and end links
  • Traction bars, steering stabilizers and steering upgrades
  • Leaf springs, add-a-leafs, blocks and airbag helper kits
  • Death-wobble diagnosis and correction
Aftermarket wheels and off-road tires mounted and balanced in Argyle, TX

Wheels & Tires

We sell, mount and balance wheels and tires for everything — lifted trucks, stock trucks, SUVs, cars, 2WD and 4WD. Wheels from 17 inches through 26 inches, forged and cast, in every offset and bolt pattern that matters in North Texas. Tires from highway all-season through all-terrain, hybrid, mud-terrain and load-range E for the guys who tow heavy.

Fitment is not guesswork here. We check backspacing, offset, load rating and speed rating against your truck and your lift before an order goes in, so a wheel and tire package actually clears at full lock and under compression instead of rubbing the fender liner the first time you turn into a driveway.

  • Wheel and tire packages, 17" to 26"
  • Mount, road-force balance and torque to factory spec
  • TPMS sensor service, programming and replacement
  • Tire rotation and rebalancing
  • Flat repair and patch-plug where the injury allows it
  • Load-range E and towing-rated fitments
  • Trailer tires and spare carrier work
  • EPA scrap tire disposal — $9 per tire, itemized on your quote

Wheel Alignment

Done in-house, on lifted trucks and stock ones alike — including three-quarter-ton and one-ton duallies that most quick-lube shops will not put on a rack.

Basic Alignment — 1 Hour

Stock or near-stock height truck, car or SUV. Toe, camber and caster set to manufacturer spec with a printed before-and-after. The right call after new tires, a pothole on I-35W, or a steering wheel that sits crooked.

Lifted Truck Alignment

Ride height changes geometry. On a lifted truck caster often has to be brought back into range with adjustable arms or cam bolts before an alignment will hold. We quote the correction honestly instead of setting toe and calling it done.

Included With Every Lift

Every lift and leveling job we write includes the alignment. Driving a new lift on an old alignment is the fastest way to scrub the shoulders off a brand new set of tires inside a few thousand miles.

Bumper, winch and LED light bar installation on a custom truck build in Argyle, Texas

Bumpers, Lighting & Accessories

The parts that make a truck yours, and the wiring behind them done properly. We fabricate where we need to, we solder and heat-shrink instead of crimping and hoping, and we fuse every circuit we add.

  • Front and rear replacement bumpers — Ranch Hand and more
  • Winches, mounts and wiring — WARN
  • Power steps, running boards and nerf bars — AMP Research, N-FAB, Westin
  • Tonneau covers — BAKFlip, RetraxPRO and roll-up styles
  • Bed liners, bed mats and bed rack systems
  • Toolboxes and truck storage — WEATHER GUARD
  • LED light bars, pods, ditch lights and rock lights — Baja Designs, Rigid Industries
  • Cold air intakes and filtration — S&B Filters
  • Grille guards, headache racks, mud flaps and hitch work
  • Auxiliary switch panels, relays and clean fused wiring

Service & Maintenance

You do not need a lifted truck to be our customer. The bays are open for regular service on any truck or SUV.

Brakes

Pads, rotors, hardware and fluid. Bigger tires ask more of a brake system — if you just went from 32s to 37s, this is the service to think about next.

Oil & Filters

Conventional, synthetic blend and full synthetic oil changes, plus air, cabin and fuel filter service on gas and diesel trucks.

Tire Service

Mount, balance, rotate, repair and TPMS. Walk-in tire rotations and balances are welcome Monday through Saturday.

Suspension & Steering

Ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings, hub assemblies, U-joints, sway bar links and shock replacement on stock trucks too.

Inspection & Diagnosis

Something clunking, wandering, vibrating or wearing tires unevenly? We will put it on the rack and tell you what we actually find.

Fleet Tire Service

Contractor, landscape, service-van and municipal fleets — at the shop. See our fleet program.

Maintenance & Wear Items

The unglamorous list. Every one of these is a job we will take on a truck, an SUV or a car, whether we built it or not, and most of them are same-day.

  • Oil changes — conventional, synthetic blend and full synthetic, gas and diesel
  • Oil filters, air filters, cabin air filters and fuel filters
  • Batteries — test, replace, terminal service, dual-battery diesel setups
  • Serpentine belts, tensioners and hoses
  • Coolant flush, top-off and pressure check
  • Brake fluid, power steering fluid and washer fluid service
  • Transmission fluid and filter service
  • Wiper blades and washer system
  • Headlight, tail light, marker and interior bulb replacement
  • A/C recharge and performance check
  • Brake pads, rotors, hardware and caliper service
  • Tire rotation, balance, flat repair and TPMS service
  • Pre-trip and pre-tow safety inspection

We are not a Texas state inspection station, so we cannot do your annual state inspection — we will tell you that up front rather than have you make the drive.

Diesel Service

Power Stroke, Cummins and Duramax. Most of the three-quarter-ton and one-ton trucks that come through here are diesels, and they have a maintenance list of their own that a lot of quick-lube shops either will not touch or get wrong.

  • Fuel filter service — both filters on Power Stroke, primary and secondary
  • Diesel oil and filter service, including high-capacity systems
  • Air filter and intake service — S&B and factory
  • DEF fill, DEF system service and DEF quality check
  • Glow plugs and grid heater service
  • Dual battery replacement and charging system check
  • Coolant, transmission and differential fluid service on HD platforms
  • Heavy-duty brake service on 2500, 3500 and 4500 chassis
  • Suspension, wheels, tires and alignment on lifted diesels

Two honest limits, stated up front. We do not do internal engine work — injectors, turbos, head gaskets and CP4 failures go to a diesel engine specialist, and we will point you to one. And we do not remove or defeat emissions equipment on any vehicle; tampering with an emissions system is a federal violation under the Clean Air Act, and no shop that intends to be here in ten years does it.

Driveline & 4WD

A lift changes driveline angles, and a truck that spends its life in four-wheel drive on caliche and job sites wears the front end faster than the rear. This is the work that keeps both of those from turning into a bigger bill.

  • U-joints, carrier bearings and driveshaft service
  • Driveshaft angle correction and shims after a lift
  • Transfer case fluid service
  • Front and rear differential fluid service
  • Front hub assemblies, wheel bearings and 4WD actuators
  • CV axles and boots
  • Axle seals and vent lines
  • "4WD light on" and "will not engage" mechanical diagnosis
  • Vibration, clunk and driveline noise chasing on lifted trucks

Two-wheel drive trucks are welcome here too, and they are not an afterthought. A 2WD lift is a real job with its own parts and its own considerations, and plenty of shops act like those trucks do not exist.

Vehicle Wraps & Window Tint

Both of these happen in our own building, on our own clock. We do not sub the wrap out to a sign shop and we do not send you across town for tint. That matters, because a truck that is already in the bay for a lift can get wrapped and tinted on the same visit instead of three appointments at three businesses.

Vehicle wraps and graphics

  • Full color-change wraps in gloss, satin, matte and metallic
  • Partial wraps, hoods, roofs, pillars and accent panels
  • Commercial fleet lettering, logos, DOT numbers and door decals
  • Chrome delete, badge delete and blackout packages
  • Racing stripes, bedside graphics and custom-printed designs
  • Paint protection on high-impact areas — hood, fenders, rockers
  • Old wrap and adhesive removal before a new one goes on

Window tint

We install tint in house on trucks, SUVs and cars, and we install it to Texas law — no film that puts you in front of a police officer explaining yourself. Texas allows 25% VLT or lighter on the front side windows, 25% or lighter on the windshield strip above the AS-1 line, and any darkness behind the driver on a truck or SUV, with reflectivity capped at 25%. We label the vehicle with the compliance sticker the law requires.

  • Carbon and ceramic film in 5%, 15%, 20%, 35%, 50% and 70% VLT
  • Heat-rejection ceramic for Texas summers — big infrared cut, no signal blocking
  • Windshield sun strips above the AS-1 line
  • Brow strips, sunroof tint and rear-window tint
  • Old tint removal, including bubbled and purpled film
  • Fleet and work-truck tint by the vehicle or by the lot
  • Medical-exemption film when you have the paperwork

Full details on both: vehicle wraps and window tint.

Full Custom Builds

Some trucks come to us for a leveling kit. Some come in stock and leave as something nobody else in Denton County is driving. We take on complete builds and we manage them end to end — one shop, one point of contact, one invoice.

What a full build can include

  • Full vehicle wraps, partial wraps, graphics and fleet lettering
  • Custom paint and color-matched trim, bumpers and flares
  • Interior work — upholstery, seating, trim and sound treatment
  • Custom wiring, auxiliary power, switch panels and accessory integration
  • Audio, lighting and camera installation
  • Complete suspension, wheel, tire and accessory packages built as one job

Custom work is quoted as its own labor line so you can see exactly what the fabrication, paint or wiring time costs against the parts. Nothing gets buried.

How a Job Works Here

Five steps, no surprises. This is the same process whether you are buying four tires or a forty-thousand-dollar build.

1. The Quote

Call, email or stop in. We build a written, itemized quote — parts, labor hours, shop supplies, tax, fees — and text or email it to you. You can approve it from your phone.

2. The Deposit

A deposit lets us order your parts. It comes straight off your total — it is not an extra charge — and right up until we place the order it is fully refundable.

3. Parts In Hand

We do not schedule your truck until every part for your job is physically checked in on our shelf. That is the rule that keeps your truck out of our lot waiting on a backorder.

4. In The Bay

You get a scheduled date and a realistic number of days. Torque specs, thread locker and a road test are part of the job, not an upsell.

5. Delivery

Alignment printout, a walkaround, a paid-in-full receipt, and a re-torque check we want to see you back for after the first few hundred miles.

Financing & Payment

We take card, cash and debit — cash and debit skip the card processing charge, and we will tell you what that saves before you decide. Ask us about payment options on a larger build.

Straight Answers

The questions we get asked every week, answered the way we would answer them at the counter.

How much does a lift kit cost installed in Argyle, TX?

A leveling kit on a half-ton usually lands in the several-hundred-dollar range installed. A 6-inch suspension lift on a three-quarter-ton with new shocks, an alignment and a set of wheels and tires is a different animal entirely. Rather than post a number that will be wrong for your truck, we build you a written, itemized quote — parts, labor hours, shop supplies, tax and any fees, all on one page — usually while you are still on the phone. Our door rate is $150 per hour and every operation is quoted from a published labor time, so the number you approve is the number you pay.

Will a lift kit void my truck's factory warranty?

Not automatically. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act a manufacturer cannot void your entire warranty simply because you installed aftermarket parts — they have to show the part actually caused the failure. In practice that means a dealer can decline a claim on a component the lift genuinely affected, but not on your radio or your transmission. We install to the manufacturer's spec, torque to spec, and keep the paperwork so you have documentation if a question ever comes up. Several of the brands we carry also back their kits with their own limited warranty.

How long does an install take?

A leveling kit and an alignment is usually a same-day job. A full suspension lift with wheels and tires is typically one to two days in the bay. Bigger builds — long-arm kits, traction bars, bumpers, lighting and wiring — run longer, and we tell you the number of days up front. Our operating rule is that we do not schedule your truck until every single part for your job is physically on our shelf. That is why we ask for a deposit to order parts, and it is why your truck is not sitting in our lot waiting on a backordered control arm.

Do I need an alignment after a lift or leveling kit?

Yes, every time. Changing ride height changes camber, caster and toe, and driving on it un-aligned is the fastest way to ruin a brand new set of tires. We do alignments in-house, including basic one-hour alignments on stock-height trucks and full lifted-truck alignments where caster has to be brought back into range. Alignment is quoted as part of every lift and leveling job we write.

Do you work on 2WD trucks and SUVs, or only lifted 4x4s?

Both. Lifted trucks are what we are known for, but the bays are open to any truck or SUV, two-wheel drive or four. Wheels and tires, oil changes, brakes, shocks, rotations, balancing and general maintenance are all everyday work here. If you drive a stock F-150 and just need four tires mounted and balanced, that is a job we want.

Can you order a brand you do not stock?

Almost always. We are an authorized dealer for the 42 brands listed on this page, which covers most of what people ask for, and we can source the rest through our distribution. Tell us what you want and we will price it, tell you the lead time honestly, and put it in writing.

What do you charge for tire disposal?

Nine dollars per tire we take off your truck. That covers proper EPA-compliant scrap tire disposal through a licensed transporter — it is not a made-up fee, and it is itemized on your quote like everything else so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

Do you offer a military or first responder discount?

We do. LONESTAR LIFTED TRUCKS is a veteran-owned shop and we take care of active duty, veterans, firefighters, law enforcement, EMS and paramedics. Bring valid ID or credentials and tell us your branch or department when we write the quote — the discount is applied before you ever see a number.

Ready to Build Something?

Call the shop and we will write you an itemized quote, usually before you hang up. Mon–Sat, 7am–6pm. 4020 Trey Ln, Unit B, Argyle, TX 76226.
