Lift Kits, Wheels & Tires in Northlake, TX

New Truck, New Address, Same Question: How Do I Make It Mine?

Northlake is growing faster than almost anywhere in Denton County. New neighborhoods going up along Cleveland Gibbs and Robson Ranch Road, the Alliance corridor freight traffic on I-35W, and a whole lot of brand-new trucks parked in brand-new driveways.

A new truck is the best time to do this right. The factory rake is still there, the tires still have all their tread, and you have not yet spent money on a wheel that turns out to be the wrong offset. Level it, put the tire you actually want under it, align it once, and you never fight it again.

We also see a lot of Northlake work trucks — contractors, service vans and landscape crews running the I-35W corridor every day. Tires, brakes and alignment on those is bread-and-butter work here, and we run a fleet program for owners with more than a couple of trucks.

Built for Northlake Trucks

New-Truck Leveling Packages

The best-value job we do. Leveling kit, a 33 or 34 inch tire, a set of wheels and an alignment — often in a day, on a truck that still has a factory warranty.

Wheels That Actually Fit

Offset and backspacing checked against your exact truck before we order. Fuel, KMC, Method, Black Rhino, American Racing, Hostile, KG1, American Force, JTX and Vossen.

Fleet & Contractor Service

Running trucks out of the Alliance corridor? Tire service, brakes, alignment and PM, scheduled so you are not down more than one truck at a time. See the fleet program.

Doing It Right the First Time on a New Truck

The mistake we see most often on a new truck is buying the wheel first. A wheel with too little backspacing pushes the tire out into the fender liner, and now you are trimming plastic on a truck with nine hundred miles on it. Order the package together, check the numbers once, and none of that happens.

The second most common mistake is skipping the alignment because the truck is new. Ride height changed the moment the leveling kit went in. New or not, the geometry is different than it was on the lot, and driving it that way is how you scrub a set of brand-new tires.

The third is worrying about the warranty and doing nothing. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act a manufacturer cannot void your whole warranty just because you installed aftermarket parts — they have to show the part caused the failure. We install to spec, torque to spec and keep the documentation so you have it if the question ever comes up.

Jeep Owners in Northlake

There are more Jeeps around Northlake than most people notice — JL and JK Wranglers on 35s, Gladiators pulling trailers, TJs that have been in the family a decade. Same bay, same crew, same written quote. See everything we do for Jeeps.

Death Wobble, Actually Diagnosed

A steering stabilizer hides death wobble. It does not fix it. We check the track bar, ball joints, tie rod ends, control arm bushings and wheel balance before we sell you a single part — that is how we run a death wobble diagnosis.

Lifts and Regearing for 35s and 37s

A JL or JT on 35s with factory gears is slow off the line, hot on the highway and hard on the transmission. We do the lift and the regear together so the Jeep drives right when it leaves.

Hardtops Off and Back On

Drop the Jeep off, we pull the hardtop and reinstall it when the weather turns. The top goes home with you — we do not store it. Hardtop removal and reinstall.

Northlake Questions

How far is your shop from Northlake?

About seven miles — roughly eleven minutes east on FM 407 from the I-35W corridor. We are at 4020 Trey Ln, Unit B, Argyle, TX 76226.

Will lifting my brand-new truck void the warranty?

Not automatically. Federal law says a manufacturer has to show the aftermarket part actually caused the failure before denying a claim. We install to manufacturer spec and keep the paperwork. Several of the brands we carry also back their kits with their own limited warranty.

What is the best first modification on a new truck?

A leveling kit, the right tire and an alignment. It changes the look more than anything else you can spend the same money on, it does not hurt ride quality, and it keeps the truck easy to live with.

Do you service work trucks and small fleets from the Alliance area?

Yes. Tires, brakes, suspension and alignment on contractor trucks, service vans and landscape rigs, at the shop, with priority scheduling for account holders.
