Hardtop Removal & Reinstall

We take it off right. We put it back right.

Every spring, same story. A Jeep hardtop is awkward and heavy enough that taking it off alone is how people crack a rear window, tear a headliner, or hurt their back. Then in the fall it has to go back on square and actually seal — or you find out the first time it rains.

That is the part we handle. Bring it in and we take the top off properly, bag and label every piece of hardware, and look over your seals and mounting points while it is off. You take the top home for the summer. Call us in the fall and we put it back on and make sure it seals. We do not store tops — yours goes home with you. Ask and we will tell you exactly how to set it down so it does not warp or scuff.

How It Works

  1. You drop the Jeep off — it is a quick job, not a day
  2. We remove the hardtop properly, with the right number of hands
  3. Hardware is bagged and labeled so nothing goes missing over the summer
  4. Seals and mounting points get looked at while the top is off, and we tell you if something needs attention
  5. We help you load the top so it gets home safe, and tell you how to set it down — flat and supported, not leaned on an edge or left in the weather
  6. You call in the fall, we put it back on and check it seals

Tops, Panels & Doors

Freedom panels. Easier to handle than a full top but just as easy to scuff. Same job, smaller parts — we pull them, bag the hardware, and check the seals while they are out.

Soft top swaps. Going from hard to soft for the summer, or replacing a soft top that has had enough Texas sun. Fitting a soft top badly is why they leak and flap.

Doors off. Mirrors, wiring, and what to do with the doors once they are off. We will tell you honestly what is legal and sensible for the road.

Leaks. If your Jeep has been letting water in, have us look while the top is off. Almost always seals or alignment of the top, and much easier to sort at this stage.

While It's Here

Top-off day is the natural time to knock out the rest of it — an oil change, brakes, a front-end check before summer, tint, or the tires you have been thinking about. One trip instead of three. Ask when you book.

Get On the List

Tell us your Jeep and roughly when you want the top off. We will book it and hold the space.
